SEPTEMBER 28-30, 2026
Frontline Church » Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
IN A CULTURE OF DESECRATION, WE DESPERATELY NEED CONSECRATION.
We live in a cultural moment marked by desecration. Truths that ought to be embraced are rejected. Values that ought to be celebrated are despised. Virtues that ought to be cultivated are denigrated. Consequently, as a culture we have forgotten both who God is and who we are—and we have been deeply malformed by this desecration. So what is the answer? We need formation that leads to consecration.
What would this kind of formation look like in our churches? How can we add institutional strength to our desire to see the people we lead trained up into holiness and maturity? How can we give our churches a renewed vision of the glory of God and his calling upon humanity? What should it look like to impart this to our kids, our singles, our families, and our communities? Those are the questions we want to explore together.
Foundations is a gathering of church leaders for a few days of collaborative learning, relational depth, and Spirit-filled ministry. We believe that the best learning happens in community. We believe that our churches are strengthened through deep relationships with other churches. And we believe that for gospel formation to take root in our churches, we need both Word and Spirit.
In addition to a few main sessions exploring the theme of formation and consecration, we'll have a number of breakouts and workshops to apply this vision to our ministries, teams, and churches. We want to consider what this kind of formation can look like in our kids ministries, worship ministries, community groups, and more. Our prayer is that all of our churches will grow and be blessed through this time together.
You are invited to join us September 28–30, as we consider together how to lead our churches into formation that leads to consecration.
"The church’s proclamation and the church’s worship draw us toward what it truly means to be human—that is, made in God’s image and now redeemed in Christ. It consecrates us. That consecration doesn’t terminate at the benediction or at the church door. It spills out into the world." - Carl Trueman
